The Freshly Cut Prelit Tabletop Tree

This is the 28"-tall prelit Christmas tree made from freshly cut branches of a Balsam fir. Less than 24 hours before shipment, the branches are cut, inserted into a floral foam trunk, and shaped to created a full, lush 15"-diameter tabletop tree. The Balsam firs are grown on a tree farm in the heart of Maine, the tree's native home where the moderate climate and fertile soil yield majestic Abies balsamea with flat, dark-green needles and a heady evergreen aroma. The tree is pre-strung with 50 incandescent lights that cast a warm white glow and if a bulb breaks or burns out the rest remain illuminated. It is pre-decorated with 15 real pinecones, 15 clusters of red-ripe artificial berries, and a hand-tied red velveteen bow. When watered every other day, the tree lasts up to six weeks.
