The Star Wars Rebels vs. Empire Chess Set

This is the Star Wars chess set that pits the scrappy Rebel Alliance against the nefarious forces of the Galactic Empire. As a Jedi in training, Luke Skywalker sweeps across the board to protect his leader, Princess Leia. Luke is aided by his trusted "bishops," the smugglers Han Solo and Chewbacca, as well as by the stalwart droids C3PO and R2D2, who serve as "knights" of the New Republic. Luke's opposite is none other than Darth Vader, whose goal is to capture Leia and ensure the long rule of Emperor Palpatine. Bounty hunter Boba Fett and imposing bureaucrat Grand Moff Tarkin act as bishops, with the Emperor's Imperial bodyguards as knights. X-wing and TIE fighter rooks square off in the skies, while Rebel pilots and Stormtroopers play the pawns of this tabletop epic. Pieces are hefty pewter with gold and silver finishes that store in integral padded drawers on the board.
