The Karate Copycat Challenge

This is the game that challenges players to use quick, karate-like hand movements to match sequences of flashing lights and music. Four semi-circular rings each have a curved light bar that illuminates according to one of seven possible games. Players must wave a hand into the open space within a certain interval after a light flashes and a musical note plays to score; a motion detector in each space measures a player's response time to ensure the sequence is followed. Players attempt to repeat an accelerating pattern of lights, keep a song going by waving hands through loops as they illuminate, "tag" as many lights within a certain timeframe, or build songs by playing the game like a musical instrument. The game's computer keeps score and moves you to the next level. Requires four AA batteries. Ages 7 and up. 12 1/2" H x 12" W x 2 1/2" D. (2 1/2 lbs.)
