Product Story
This is the personal R2 unit whose lightweight, inflatable body provides the maneuverability as a genuine astromech droid. When inflated by the included foot pump, this R2-D2 stands an impressive 26" tall, with drive units underneath that enable him to perform zippy 360-degree spins, full forward, back, and turning. The inflatable body gives the droid an extremely low center of gravity, enabling him to stay upright even when descending stairs. R2 can also right himself should he tip when attempting a flip off a ramp, or just when tumbling over a Dagobah tree root. The easy-to-use radio remote has a 25-foot range. Requires one 9-volt and four AA batteries. Ages 3 and up. 14" H x 14" W x 3" D. (3 1/2 lbs.)
