Product Story

This is the spyglass that evokes the original collapsible telescope invented in the 17th century by Hans Lippershey and used by mariners during the Age of Sail. The spyglass has a 30 mm objective coated lens that provides 25X magnification, allowing you to see vessels approaching the starboard side or catch a glimpse of a hummingbird in your backyard. The coated optics increase light transmission and resolution that enable a linear field of view at 267' at 1,000 yards. The spyglass extends to 13"-long and retracts to just 5 1/3", it has a faux leather sleeve with cross stitching, and is made from metal with a polished brass finish. The spyglass stores in the included rosewood wood box. 5 1/3"-13" L x 1 1/3" Diam. (7 1/3 oz.)
