Product Story
This is the remote-controlled oversized tarantula that creeps across flat, smooth surfaces like an actual arachnid with creepy, crawly leg movement only available from Hammacher Schlemmer. Spinning 360° on command from the radio remote that also provides left/right and forward/backward movement, the tarantula’s legs appear to synchronize as it quickly scuttles its way over hardwood floors. With a hairy exterior suggestive of the urticating hairs that cover a tarantula’s abdomen, the spider ejects an 11"-long red cord randomly for added surprise. Requires four AAA and one 9-volt battery. Ages 6 and up. 8" L x 12" W x 3" H. (1 1/4 lb.)
