The Outdoor Infrared Sauna

This is the outdoor sauna that uses far infrared light to generate radiant heat for the therapeutic comfort of a classic spa. FIR light possesses all the penetrating warmth of sunshine with none of the harmful ultraviolet light, for a therapy so safe and comforting, hospitals use it to warm newborns. The nine carbon-fiber FIR heaters in this two-seat sauna cover 4,700 square inches of surface area, ensuring an evenly radiating warmth that envelops the user. The commercial-grade heaters are rated to last for 100,000 hours of use. Unlike traditional saunas that use electric coils to achieve intense heat above 170° F, the energy-efficient heaters in this sauna promote a deep, healthy sweat at lower temperatures around 130° F by warming the surface of the skin, not the air itself. To further promote relaxation, this sauna includes reading lights, a portable backrest and a remote-controlled radio with CD player that can offer playback from an MP3 device through its USB and auxiliary inputs. The 20 1/2"-deep bench accommodates two comfortably (up to 500 lbs.), and the thick, tempered-glass doors are durable enough to endure everyday use. Assembly required.
