These are the deck shoes handcrafted from North American bison that impart a classic look to one’s nautical attire without sacrificing proper stability. Developed by Hammacher Schlemmer, these are the only shoes of their kind to use 100% bison leather for its uppers—a leather valued for its long-lasting durability since the early days of the Great Plains tribes. Naturally water-repellent, the bison leather is tanned to leave each hide’s character intact to ensure each pair of shoes are unique. Trimmed with brass eyelets and rawhide laces, the natural, breathable uppers lend supple softness that won’t pinch the feet, yet have a deep grain that stands up to years of wear without losing their shape or support. A full leather lining gently encloses the feet like your favorite slippers, molding to you for a custom fit, while its cushioned EVA foam insole provides reliable comfort.
