This clock radio combines traditional AM/FM radio functions with police, traffic, weather, and TV bands, in addition to atomic clock technology that automatically synchronizes its time with a signal from the National Institute of Standards and Time timekeeping system for a accuracy rate within one second over a million years. This is the first publicly available product to automatically alert the user to special announcements and weather alerts broadcast on AM, FM, and the National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) weather service. 300 scanning channels provide instant access to information, including public safety, amateur radio, aircraft, traffic, inclement weather alerts, and VHF TV broadcasts.
