Only available from Hammacher Schlemmer, this is the sun jacket that employs a NASA-developed radiant barrier technology used to shield astronauts from temperature extremes and radiation. The jacket’s radiant barrier reflects up to 80% of the sun’s heat and imparts a UPF 50+ rating, providing 99.89% protection from harmful UV rays for the chest, shoulders, upper back, and the tops of the forearms. Made from 90-denier nylon; with vents built into its chest and back, four zippered breast pockets, and two flap pockets. Drawstring waist. Unisex. Sizes S/M, L/XL.
