Product Story
These are the binoculars specifically engineered to enable safe solar observation. This pair has removable CE-certified white-light solar filters for each of its 50mm objective lenses that provide stunning views of the sun’s photosphere. Providing a 100-meter field-of-view at 1,000 meters, the binoculars’ BK-7 porro prisms work in concert with their 56-72mm interpupillary distance, 8mm close focus, 12mm eye relief, and 10X magnification to magnify images and sunspots in complete safety. Can also be used for normal daytime/nighttime viewing without the filters. Made with a rugged, rubberized exterior. Includes padded case, neck strap, and cleaning cloth.
