Flexible plastic combs spin rapidly as the sweeper is pushed forward, grabbing leaves, grass clippings, pine needles, and other small detritus from lawns, driveways, patios, or walkways, depositing them into the built-in collection hopper.

"It covers a 21"-wide swath and collects up to 26 gallons of leaves before it has to be emptied," explained Hammacher Schlemmer's General Manager Fred Berns. The sweeper’s 10"-diameter wheels roll effortlessly on grass or concrete, and the nylon collection hopper lifts out of the sturdy tubular frame for easy emptying.
