Available only from Hammacher Schlemmer, this is the 2'-tall battery-operated porch lantern that issues a shimmering, preternatural flameless light to attract trick or treaters. The lantern is illuminated by two LEDs that flash slowly like the flame of a candle, creating an eerie flickering suggestive of restless spirits within. Made from black-painted powder-coated steel, the lantern’s side panels each form a spider’s web while its top has bat-shaped cutouts. Light from the LEDs pass through red polypropylene side panels that back each spider web, generating a crimson glow that maintains an appropriate Halloween mood for greeting trick or treaters. Requires three AA batteries. 24" H x 15" W x 15" D. (8 1/4 lbs.)
