Product Story

The is the mantel clock that captures the classic motifs of the leaded glass windows in the Willits house, a 1902 Prairie-style architectural masterpiece designed by Wright in Highland Park, Illinois. Evoking images from the prairie, Wright’s design seamlessly combined architecture and nature to create his own unique style. Officially licensed by the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation, this mantel clock features an adaptation of one of the home’s 115 art-glass windows, which allowed natural light into the interior of the house while ensuring privacy for its residents. Constructed with a solid Alder wood case in a walnut finish, this clock keeps time with a matching geometric wood pendulum, and a sweep second hand. Solid wood frame with protective glass case. Requires one AA battery that lasts one year. 15 3/4" H x 7" W x 3 1/2" D. (6 lbs.)
