Incidents/Injuries: No injuries have been reported. Eleven customers reported that their stool seats broke during set-up or in normal use. This stool is being voluntarily recalled by its manufacturer, due to risk that the wood seat may break, posing a fall hazard.

Remedy: Your safety is important to Hammacher Schlemmer. If you have one of these stools, please immediately stop using it, disassemble it, save one leg and throw away the remaining pieces of the stool.
