Product Story
Unlike traditional step ladders, this unit--only available at Hammacher Schlemmer--easily converts to a heavy-duty hand truck, combining two indispensable household tools in one. The strong, durable aluminum frame supports 265 lbs. as a ladder and 200 lbs. as a hand truck, while the oversized polypropylene steps provide sure footing. The ladder-truck has a padded foam handle and 4" rubber wheels that pivot inward when not in use, providing a 3 1/2" folded depth, ensuring simple, compact storage. As hand truck, 50 1/2" H x 19 1/4" W x 18" L; as ladder, 48" H x 19 1/4" W x 30" L; closed 49 3/4" H x 18 1/2" W x 3 1/2" L. (18 1/4 lbs.)
