Unlike typical radar guns intended for either automobile or sports applications, this comprehensive radar gun switches modes at the touch of a button, allowing you to determine a professional race car's pace, a baseball pitcher's velocity, and tennis serve speed with one convenient unit. The radar gun is as accurate as those used by police and professional baseball scouts; it is precise to within 1/10th of 1 MPH, while lesser radar guns have a margin of error from 1 to 3 MPH, and it provides a reading on the LCD 10 milliseconds after the trigger is pressed. About the size of a hair dryer, the device allows ease of transport to professional racing events (where permitted) or amateur baseball games and tennis matches. Capable of measuring speeds up to 600 MPH and automobiles from 3/4 mile away, the radar gun can determine current speed and peak speed simultaneously, and it holds up to five readings in its integrated memory. The expansive 14° beam width enables measurement of items as large as boats and snowmobiles or as small as tennis and golf balls. You can program the gun to ignore motion below and above specific thresholds (from 5 to 300 MPH), ensuring peripheral movements do not register. Measures in MPH, KM/H, Knots, or M/S.
