Product Story
This is the hooded sweater handmade just outside Kathmandu, Nepal that evokes the rugged endurance of the Himalaya’s iconic climbing companions. Hand-knit in eight days by small women knitting cooperatives, it is made from 100% lambswool and insulated with a proprietary, water-repellant material that retains warmth even when wet. Its sleeves are lined with slippery nylon for friction-free on/off and effortless layering while the hood, collar, and two handwarmer pockets are lined with plush fleece. The draw-cord hood protects the head; when down, the high collar protects the neck while internal cuffs seal out drafts. With an internal zippered pocket. Imported. Sizes M, L, XL, and XXL.
