Winner of a Parent's Choice Gold Award, this is the experiment kit that provides children with a fun, hands-on way to discover fuel cells by building their own hydrogen-powered zero-emission vehicle. The kit uses solar panels and a proton exchange membrane fuel cell to separate water into hydrogen and oxygen by electrolysis, and then powers the car on the resulting energy. A display stand with rollers allows the car to operate in-place for proof of concept, or it can be released on a table or floor to roll under its own power.
