Product Story

This is the idiosyncractic clock that uses binary notation to display the time. Mimicking the same on-and-off calculation as electronic systems from the dawn of the Computer Age, this clock presents six columns of blue LED lights, wherein every two columns represent the digits for hour, minute, and second. From bottom to top in each column, individual lights represent the values 1, 2, 4, and 8. Simply add the values of lit units to decode the digit represented by each column. The clock can be set to a 12- or 24-hour convention, it has three brightness settings, and it can be wall mounted. Plugs into AC; battery backup requires three AA batteries. 12 1/4" H x 12 1/4" W x 1 1/2" D. (2 lbs.)
