This heated blanket earned The Best rating from the Hammacher Schlemmer Institute because it reached the warmest temperature and was the softest and most durable. Institute analysts slept under all blankets for multiple nights and the Best model heated up to an average of 77.9° F on low, 80.3° F on medium, and 82.06° F on high, while lesser models only averaged 72.3° F, 73.04° F, and 77.0° F, respectively. Thanks to its soft velour/ sherpa fabric, the blanket’s thin wires are virtually undetectable to the touch and it withstood repeated washing/drying cycles without pilling or fraying. The included controller (two on Queen and King sizes) has 10 heat settings. With 10-hour automatic shut off. AC plug with 19' cord. Linen. (11 1/2 lbs.)
