This is the tabletop appliance that tunes into FM broadcasts and internet radio streams. It includes a built-in Spotify streaming service and allows access to any of the world’s 30,000 internet radio stations for listening to an endless series of songs. It also receives FM stations with FM RDS for identifying the song name, artist, and radio station information on its 2.8" TFT color display. Its mellifluous audio quality is a result of a 1/2"-thick real wood-veneered MDF enclosure that houses a 3/4" soft dome tweeter and a custom 3" long-throw woofer made with an oversized magnet. Its digital amplifier produces 30 watts per channel. Its USB port enables lossy and lossless playback from a memory stick and its optical input connects to a TV’s audio output.
