The Children's Farmers Market

This is the toy grocery stand that comes stocked with fruits and vegetables to teach young farmers and shoppers about healthy growing and eating. Appropriately sized for little customers and vendors, the shaded market stall is made from colorfully painted wood and includes nine removable plastic bins for displaying the wares. The included crates of “fresh” produce familiarize children with everything from apples to cucumbers; a third crate of dry goods, including spaghetti and salad dressing, teaches kids to build a nutritious meal from the ingredients. Younger children can learn to identify foods by color, while older farmers can practice writing the item names and prices on the chalkboards that front the display bins.
