Product Story
This is the classic dice-throwing game said to have originated with 12th-century Norman fishermen after a day at sea. Still popular in British pubs, it begins by lining up the nine numbered tiles on the box ledge before rolling the large wooden dice on the felt lining. Each player then lays down any combination of tiles corresponding to their dice total until all tiles are flattened and the winner has “shut the box.” This fast-playing game offers unplugged, offline entertainment ideal for living rooms and family rooms, with all components contained within the handsome, polished wooden game box.
