The Countertop Soda Machine

This is the countertop soda vending machine that evokes the nostalgic 1950's coolers found everywhere from gas stations to roadside attractions. Though updated with modern technology, the vending machine bears the hallmark designs of a bygone era, from the chrome script lettering to the rounded jukebox-like top. The machine has six slots that hold two 12-oz. cans each, and clear plastic windows that reveal the refreshments within. A simple touch of a button releases the can with the classic "clunk" reminiscent of the genuine article. The cooling power in this machine comes from thermoelectric Peltier elements, a silent technology that doesn't vibrate as compressors do, and which cools drinks nearly 30 degrees below ambient room temperature.
