The Cushioned Teak Shower Stool

Made of 100% solid teak, the world’s most water-resistant wood, this cushioned shower stool provides comfortable in-shower seating. Available exclusively from Hammacher Schlemmer, the stool is made from teak harvested from the island of Java where the slow-growth hardwood develops a tight grain and natural oil to resist damage from moisture and humidity. The 2" thick, soft PU cushion provides a comfortable seat and is waterproof for years of reliable use. The under-seat shelf holds soap, shampoo, and other necessities and its slatted construction prevents water from pooling. The solid teak construction and mortise and tenon joinery provide sturdiness and a weight-bearing capacity up to 250 lbs.
