Product Story

These are the sunglasses worn by Elvis Presley during his historic 1972 Madison Square Garden concerts, made by the original manufacturer. The sunglasses have the square aviator shape that Elvis made famous, with a high bridge and wide temples that balance out even the thickest muttonchops. The signature oversized metallic frames provided a quintessentially bold complement to the King’s bedazzled jumpsuit and cape during his four sold-out June shows, the only concerts he ever performed in New York. Adjustable nose pads keep the frames in place, while plastic temple covers ensure comfort behind the ears. The lightweight, high-quality lenses block harmful UV rays and are made from shatterproof plastic, with a graduated grey (silver frame) tint that aids driving. Silver. 1 3/4" H x 6" W x 6 1/4" D. (8 oz.)
