The Handyman's Tool Box Work Bench

This is the tool box that transforms into a full-sized work surface for handling a multitude of handyman tasks. As a 13"-high toolbox, it stores hand and power tools and provides a convenient carrying handle. When it’s time to start a job, four locking rubber-tipped legs extend from the bottom and locking risers extend from the top to place the 24" L x 16" W work surface (that also detaches from the bottom) 32" from the floor. The work surface has an integrated vise/clamping table top, four 3/4" bench dog clamping pegs that fit into 15 pre-drilled 3/4" bench dog holes, two magnets that secure screws and metallic parts, and a removable straight edge ruler. The tool box’s interior keeps tools and other materials at hand. Its sturdy powder-coated steel construction supports up to 200 lbs., enabling the mounting of miter saws.
