The Detailed Task Magnifying Glasses

Ideal for examining the finer details of stamps and coins, tying flies, or simply threading a needle, these are the hands-free 2X magnifying lenses that are worn like eyeglasses and provide clear resolution of minute detail. Made by Eschenbach, renowned purveyors of precision eyewear in Germany since 1913, each 1 1/4" lenspiece may be individually focused to ±3 diopters, providing a 20° field of view. The magnifying glasses contain no sharp edges, fit over the nose with an open-saddle bridge, and are flexible and lightweight enough (less than two ounces) for comfortable extended use. While not designed as a substitute for reading glasses, they are optimized to focus on objects with a working distance of 16". Lenses made from durable scratch-resistant PXM plastic.
