Product Story
Available only from Hammacher Schlemmer, these are the knives made with proprietary high carbon stainless steel that allows them to be washed in a dishwasher without the risk of blunting, chipping, or rusting. They are made in Thiers—considered the cradle of French cutlery since the reign of Louis XIV—by Tarrerias-Bonjean Groupe, renowned cutlers since 1648. They have an alloy composed of 16% chromium that yields the highest corrosion resistance available for kitchen knives and has a Rockwell Hardness Rating of 56 for long-lasting edge retention. Their two-piece ergonomic handles are made from lightweight ABS thermoplastic and have three aluminum rivets.Select set and-or individual knives.
