Product Story
This is the classic tweed cap handcrafted on the northwest coast of Ireland, suitable for brisk days touring with the top down or tramping through the heath. Featuring a modern style that preserves tradition, the cap has a curved peak sewn down at the front for a bespoke, tailored look. With a smart, slim fitted design, the cap has a curved peak which is sewn down at the front, providing a more bespoke, tailored look. The low profile resists the wind in order to better hug the wearer’s head, while the 100% wool fabric is water resistant and hard wearing. Each cap is made one at a time by hand at one of Donegal’s premier haberdasheries since 1964. Brown. With viscose taffeta lining. Dry clean only. Sizes M, L, and XL.

To get the proper fit in a hat, we recommend that you measure your head to determine your proper hat size.
- Use a good quality tape measure, such as those used for sewing, to achieve the most accurate measurement.
- Wrap the measuring tape around your head. The tape should be placed where you want the hat to rest, usually 1/8-inch to 1/2-inch above the top of your ears. For the best-looking and most comfortable fit, the bottom of the tape should touch your eyebrows while positioned straight around your head. Don't pull the tape too snugly or your hat will fit that tightly.
- Once you've positioned the tape exactly where you want it, measure to the nearest one-eighth inch, or three millimeters.
- Measure your head a second and third time to ensure accuracy.
