The Dynamic Sound Radio Clock

This is the radio clock that produces dynamic sound quality unmatched by common models that produce flat, tinny noise. Made by audio innovator Tivoli, heralded by The New York Times for its "myopic focus on rich sound," it uses a heavy weight magnet in its 3" full-range speaker, producing robust, mellifluous sound that fills a room with crisp highs and balanced mids--its built-in bass reflex port provides enhanced bass. For superior FM signal reception, its external antenna extends 25" to lock onto distant stations while the radio's digital tuner employs a greater degree of de-emphasis to improve overall signal-to-noise ratio. The clock's single button wheel and included remote control power, volume, AM/FM tuning and alarm functions, and selection of up to five station presets. A 3" display with adjustable backlight displays the time, station, and RDS-derived station name. With 1/8" jack for MP3 or other external audio source, headphone jack, and a jack for an optional subwoofer. Built with a compact, 4 1/2" footprint, the clock is housed in a walnut cabinet.
