This is the nightlight that instantly transforms into an emergency flashlight in the event of a power failure, providing up to eight hours of steady, bright illumination. As a nightlight, it automatically turns on at dusk and off at dawn using its built-in photoelectric sensor, and it has a motion sensor that can be set to only turn on when approached (12' range; 100° coverage), providing gentle illumination using one LED. When electrical power is lost, the unit immediately switches to rechargeable batteries that power three bright white LEDs, so it can be carried as a flashlight to help you easily navigate your way during emergency situations.
