Product Story
This is the patented blanket that covers a wood-burning fireplace opening to eliminate drafts through the open flue. Made from Pavenex—a fire-resistant, non-woven carbon fiber material—the draft eliminator can be easily placed over the outside of a metal fireplace screen as the embers die out. The lightweight yet dense material minimizes hot air lost through the fireplace until the flue can be closed, helping to conserve heat and fuel expenses. The blanket has five strong magnets sewn in along its edge that create a leak-proof seal around the fireplace. Made in the U.S.
