The Genuine British Special Forces Watch

This is the watch issued to members of the British Army's Special Air Service, the 69 year-old special forces regiment made famous during World War II's North African Campaign. Preferred for its stealthy military features--its jet black titanium nitride-coated stainless steel case and black polymer band--the watch has been given its own NATO stock number to identify it as an ongoing standard issue military timepiece for the Organization's forces. Time is easily read in total darkness, thanks to the 15 tritium gas-filled micro-capsules set into the face at each hour and for the hands. Each capsule's phosphor lining reacts with the gas, causing it to fluoresce, enabling years of guaranteed night visibility. A double-thickness, scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with triple anti-reflective coating protects the face. A double-toothed stainless steel buckle secures the 3/4" band to wrists up to 8 1/2" in circumference. A triple O-ring crown seal provides water resistance to 330'.
