This is the sportcoat hand-tailored from 100% virgin wool by Magee of County Donegal, Ireland, renowned since 1866 for its fine, handwoven tweeds. Available only from Hammacher Schlemmer, the jacket comes in a classic herringbone pattern with a notched lapel, two-button front, and twin straight flap pockets that provide a smart casual look suitable for work or play. Naturally hard-wearing and water-repellant—the two reasons for which tweed was the traditional choice of outdoorsmen who preferred apparel suited to resist the elements—the tweed retains its structure with frequent wear and keeps out light rain. With a 100% viscoe lining, two-tone under-collar, and four-button cuffs. Imported. Men’s regular sizes 40-48. (2 lbs.)
