Dense yet soft to the touch, this type of wool has long been prized in Ireland’s rugged climate for the way its soft natural fibers react to the body’s temperature, offering warmth in winter and breathability in summer. The throw is knitted with three classic patterns—cable stitching for safety and good fortune, ladder stitching to symbolize the stages of life, and honeycomb stitching to represent hard work and luck.
