This is the miniature digital camera with a vintage look from Minox, the renowned German camera maker. The original Minox camera garnered acclaim in the 1950s for its tiny build and Cold War spy mystique. This modern version keeps the classic design and size (one third of a full-size camera), while adding improvements like a 2" color LCD monitor and point-and-shoot simplicity. With a 14-megapixel CMOS sensor, the camera takes pictures and AVI video in 640 x 480 resolution, storing content on an SD memory card up to 32 GB (not included). Its 7.4mm lens (scale equivalent to a standard 41mm lens) can be focused manually or automatically, with optional 4X digital zoom. Manual film advance and rewind levers complete the retro feel, even if their function is entirely vestigial. Rechargeable Li-Ion battery recharges in three hours via AC adapter or USB.
