The Genuine Turkish Caydanlik

Only available from Hammacher Schlemmer, this is the genuine Turkish teapot or caydanlik. Crafted in Istanbul from stainless steel, it captures the aroma and atmosphere of a traditional Turkish cay bahcesi or tea garden while it brews five cups of the nation’s most popular beverage. Water is boiled in the bottom pot before being poured into the top kettle where it steeps one’s preferred loose tea leaves. Excess water in the bottom kettle can then be used to dilute the strength of one’s tea—similar to a samovar—and create a customized cup catered to one’s unique palate.
