Product Story
Evoking the classic wooden sled that first swooped down hills in the 1890s, this handmade birch racer has an advanced runner system unlike that of any other sled for exhilarating speeds and a pivoting front section that allows tight, controlled turns. The birch planks and willow handrails were tested in Colorado by outdoor enthusiasts and winter-sports experts, and are coated with three coats of marine-grade finish for long-lasting durability. The sled is able to navigate almost any conditions, including freshly-fallen, hard-packed, and iced-over snow. It meets all USC and ASTM child safety requirements. A pad for increased comfort is available separately below. 4" H x 16" W x 48" L. (16 lbs.)
