This is the effortless and reusable flood barrier that stores compactly, yet can absorb, contain and divert problem flood water in a matter of minutes. The bags are ready to be deployed without the time-consuming and back-breaking labor of filling sacks with sand. Each of the 20 reusable bags contains an eco-friendly super-absorbent polymer that activates with water to create a gel. Each reusable bag absorbs up to four gallons of water, swells to 31/2” high within 10 minutes, and can be stacked to make a vertical dam. The barriers are ideal for entryways, window wells, and garages to protect against plumbing problems, severe storms, fast-melting snow and other overflowing waters indoors or outdoors.
