The Irish Walking Cape

Handmade in Glasnevin, County Dublin by Hourihan, manufacturers of fine capes and coats for over 50 years, this wool cape will ward off the cold while you walk the blustery moors or stroll downtown streets. Densely woven with 430 grams of 100% pure new wool per square meter, the cloak's tight weave produces a fabric that is naturally water- and wind-resistant, and its mid-hip drape won't hide fine eveningwear like a bulky overcoat. The green and red yarn-dyed cloak is meticulously saddle-stitched along the edge of the collar and the front. A button along the neckline secures the cape and allows it to envelop the upper body like a blanket. Dry clean only. One size fits most. 40" L. (3 lbs.)
