Available exclusively from Hammacher Schlemmer, this is the wool capelet hand woven on the grounds of historic Muckross House in Killarney, Ireland. Completed in 1843, the 65-room mansion and its estate became Ireland’s first national park in 1932. Using only the finest Shetland wool, master weavers produce the capelet on 200-year-old looms to honor the Emerald Island’s rich heritage of making garments of unsurpassed quality. The boucle-weave capelet adds a lightweight layer of warmth and color that exquisitely evokes the dramatic beauty of Muckross Gardens and the rugged Killarney countryside. Dry clean only. One size fits most. Blue tartan. 50" L x 28" W. (3 oz.)
