The Kindle Touch Solar Case

Winner of the Eco-Design and Sustainable Technology award at the Consumer Electronics Show, this is the illuminated Kindle case that is powered by the sun. Unlike lesser lighted covers that draw power from the Kindle itself, this superior case has a solar panel built into its cover that powers the internal 1,500 mAh battery. The rechargeable battery powers the integrated LED light for up to 50 hours or recharges the Kindle to 80% of its maximum charge. The LED lamp extends from the case and casts bright, white light to illuminate the entire Kindle screen for more comfortable reading conditions in low light.
