This is the activity set that challenges children to lead a robot through various mazes using colored tiles. The robot follows the line-laid maps and contains a built-in color sensor that detect the interchangeable color-coded discs, directing him to turn left, turn right, go straight, or stop. Utilizing elements of the STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) curriculum, it introduces kids to the basic concepts of robots and coding (without using an app or computer). It comes with over 81 maze-tiles, 32 color coding tiles, and a book with 60 challenges. Requires three AAA batteries. Ages 5 and up.
