After the fleece is hand-combed from the goats, the raw fibers are spun into two-ply yarn with 54 stitches per four inches for superior softness, then dyed and meticulously knitted into the finished sweater, resulting in a lightweight yet high-loft garment without bulk. Each sweater averages over one pound of pure cashmere, requiring the raw material of five cashmere goats to make a single sweater. With reversible zipper and two pockets.
