This is the safari hat that thwarts mosquitos, ticks, flies, and other bugs for pest-free traveling. Made from 71% Nylon/29% Polyester, its fibers are treated with permethrin—an odorless and nontoxic compound that simulates the natural repellent compounds issued by chrysanthemums. Permethrin is EPA-approved, recommended by the World Health Organization and the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and is the same insect-repelling methods utilized in U.S. Military uniforms. Ideal for those traveling to warm climates, it has a moisture-wicking sweatband, ventilated sides, UPF 50+ protection, and a 2 1/2" wide brim. With an adjustable chin strap.
