Offered exclusively by Hammacher Schlemmer, and designed to weather accidents, travel, and inclement outdoor conditions, these 12X water- and shockproof binoculars have been tested to survive falls up to 30' without loss of viewing quality. Constructed to withstand rain and fog and meet military standards for shock protection, these binoculars offer advanced optics with 12X magnification through 25mm lenses, which are fully multi-coated to allow maximum light transmission for the brightest images with maximum contrast. They have a field of view of 275' at 1,000 yards, and the Bak-4 prisms have a higher-than-average density glass which results in razor-sharp imaging. The binoculars are lightweight and compact for ease of use despite their ruggedness, and have a rubber exterior armor, internal nitrogen waterproofing, reinforced aluminum housing, and five layers of internal insulation.
