This device masks unwanted noise in the home, office, or schoolroom, by creating richly textured ambient sound, which can be customized from eight primary natural sounds and eight audio overlays. This double-layering technology creates a three-dimensional soundscape, a far superior aid to relaxation than the flat sound loops of simpler models. Helping to shut out all sorts of distracting sounds, from barking dogs and snoring spouses to keyboard clicking and air traffic, it realistically re-creates the soothing sounds of nature and other selected ambient sounds. Eight base sound selections (White Sound, Lakeshore, Surf I, Surf II, Rain, Country Eve, Brook, and Thunderstorm) can be played alone or combined with any of eight digital overlay sounds (Sea Gulls, Frogs, Buoy, Hawk, Loons, Songbirds, Dove, and Owl) to create a tranquil environment. The unit has a 4" speaker for acoustic clarity, slide controls for adjusting tone and volume, and an LED indicator that displays your selections.
