The set consists of 44 films, including Academy Award-winning documentaries The True Glory, the story of the Allied victory as told through first-person accounts, and December 7th, the Navy-produced propaganda film about the attack on Pearl Harbor. Procured from the National Archives collection of 200,000 documentaries, newsreels, and research and development films, the set's footage is unedited to preserve the integrity of the historical film and transferred using the latest technology to provide the best picture quality possible.
